@rubix1 I bet its been there. just noticed today. I’m getting stressed.
@aleg Mine has that too. I’m pretty sure that there’s always been an option called email services. Not sure if what it says about a BC account is new
@lrose00 I can click on it and it says:
Once you submit this form, email sent to your BC email address will be forwarded to the email account above.
To confirm these changes, please click “UPDATE/CONFIRM” below. Your forwarding of new email messages will commence within ten minutes.
I bet its been there.
Earlier in the thread, someone mentioned that decisions are sent out in waves? As in the rejection and deferral decisions are sent out around 5 and the acceptances are sent out around 6-ish? Is that true?
can someone chance me? My gpa is 4.618 weighted, not sure what it is unweighted. 35 on the ACT. 4 on AP Bio, 5 on AP Chem, 5 on AP English Language. Current classes: AP Calc BC, AP Physics C, AP Lit, AP Spanish, AP Euro, art, gym. Treasurer of Spanish Club, Secretary of Interact Club (community service). lots of community service involvement. have worked with special needs students for 2 hours every week since eighth grade. have been on the tennis team all four years, captain this year. camp counselor in the summers. Peer tutor through my school’s Spanish department. I’ve also played the piano since i was 6, nothing too serious but have participated in occasional performances and competitions. have earned the New Jersey seal of biliteracy in spanish. have also earned the AP scholar award. Summa cum laude every year. I also have legacy (my dad went to BC). also i’m a white female
@aleg You are waiting on Georgetown results? Saw you on the EA thread over there…me too…
You have a really good chance at BC I think. Don’t worry about it-- we still have 24 hours left!
@lemons7 I think that’s what happened last year, but I’m not sure. If you check last year’s thread it should be on there.
My daughter got her acceptance at 6:22 and I think some of the deferrals were communicated before then. But I’m not 100% sure.
Just to clarify…you will be emailed a letter as an attachment, it won’t be on the portal. But you will notice all sorts of new tabs after you get accepted if you get accepted. That might kick in the next day or so.
In 2015 they updated the portal before the letters were received (they used snail mail that year). So lots of kids figured out they got in before they got their letter, including my daughter. But BC figured that out and now they don’t update the portals until the decisions have been communicated.
oh wow okay thanks so much T_T this wait is going to be a long one
@Rubix1 Yes, I’m waiting on BC, Georgetown, Notre Dame, and Villanova
So here’s last year’s thread. Looks like deferrals came out a little earlier (start on page 20) as the first batch looks like all deferrals…however, someone mentioned they heard they were going out east to west over the course of 3 hours…know idea if that part happened. So not an exact science but generally speaking, if they do what they did last year, some deferrals might be first?

@collegemomjam thank you!!!
@collegemomjam definitely seems like deferrals got sent first

Good luck everyone!!!

Does anybody know if CSOM is any harder to get into early than the other colleges?
@viking1308 some people think that it is although it’s never been officially stated that CSOM has a lower acceptance rate. I think the rumor is fueled by CSOM looking for more rigor in math courses
Does anyone know if merit scholarships are also announced tmrrw?
would evening be like 7pm?
