In the email subject line, Thursday, December 2 was stated, not hidden
interesting. my subject line just says “Early Decision I Notification Date”
I’m a current BC freshman, who applied ED last year. Last year I got the same email saying something about December 2nd (meant nothing). Last year, BC emailed on the day they released decisions and the time and there was an X post too. No matter the BC decision, it will eventually work out! Best of luck to everyone!
I got an email 15 minutes ago saying that decisions will be released on Tuesday, December 5th in the evening. My guess is that it will be around 6 pm. Good luck everyone!
yep! prob at 6pm! good luck everyone <3
Does anyone know how dorm selection works? Do you get assigned or can you choose a dorm? Thanks
The housing process occurs much later in the year. I believe you fill out a questionnaire that is due around the end of June, and they let you know what dorm you’re assigned to, as well as your roommate (or roommates) in early August. 40% of the first-year students are assigned to live on the Newton Campus, which is about one mile away, and has a shuttle that will take you back and forth to main campus. It also has it’s own dining hall, and it is where the law school is located.
On the questionnaire, you can indicate a preference for a double or a triple, and if you have found someone you want to be roommates with, then you can make that request. You cannot indicate a preference for Main Campus or Newton - that is assigned randomly. Nor can you indicate a preference as to which dorm - that is also random.
Thank you!!! This is so helpful- much appreciated
Also, historically What time have decisions been released? 6pm? 7 pm?
Not sure about historically, but last year was at 6pm.
Thank you!!
Be on the portal at 6PM EST. Don’t wait for the email saying decisions are up. Last year the email was about 15 minutes behind the portal release. Good luck everyone!
My S24 received an e-mail from BC indicating that they received his application and would also be evaluating him for the Gabelli Scholarship (it is a generic e-mail, not specifically for “him”), he also applied RD only to be considered for the scholarship. During our tour last year the admission team clearly said that they prefer ED so it is not suprising that stats of ED applicants are lower.
All the best !
