Boston College econ vs Rutgers Business School

Hello,

I have narrowed down my college search to two options, those being BC and Rutgers for business. Unfortunately, I did not apply to the Carroll School of Management at BC and am now looking at an econ major in the College of Arts and Sciences there. Rutgers, on the other hand, would be a surefire bet for a degree in finance and a business related career, as well as honors college admission. Another factor is cost. At BC, I would pay approximately $20k for my first year, while Rutgers would be next to nothing ($3k).

Given the above info and keeping in mind my goal of perhaps securing a job at a Wall Street firm, which would you choose? Is it worth the extra money at BC for prestige and a better overall school?

Any opinions and tips would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Rutgers has a road to wall street program too if you’re interested in that.
