I’m looking at going to BC but a big turnoff is that, from what I’ve found, they don’t have a med school. I was wondering what schools accept most BC students for med school or where they have high acceptance rates. I know boston U. has a direct relationship with Tufts Med School so I guess I was wondering if BC had anything like that.

Boston U has its own med school, so I highly doubt that it has a “direct relationship” with Tufts.

BC grads go where they can get in, just like any premed. Medical school classes are generally very small: <200. Since med schools like geographic diversity, among all other types of diversity, they rarely accept many students from the same undergrad. There are 3000+ colleges, but only ~140 allopathic med schools.

Med school is first and foremost about high GPA and high MCAT. High numbers from anywhere will qualify you for the interview, when all of the EC factors come into play.

btw: if you will only attend a college with its own med school, then your choices will be severely limited.
