Accepted for CAS and totally shocked. I was deferred EA and after this crazy winter/thinking I wouldn’t get in I basically discounted BC but now I’m getting totally excited about it again and might go. Congrats to everyone/consolations to those not admitted, everyone will go somewhere great! (33 ACT and 3.96ish UW GPA)
Rejected. Meh, didn’t want to go since I heard BC really doesn’t give out many scholarships, and I need an almost-full-ride scholarship since I’m dirt poor lol. Also wrote that essay last minute haha XD Good job guys
Figured I’d put this here if anyone from the South is thinking about applying next year. Sorry for the long post, but might as well be thorough.
(thanks mingeh for formatting)

ZERO bs high school clubs (The pride of my application)

Last minute essay about being undecided. Common app was about how the ECs at my school suck and I had to find shit to keep myself entertained.
My official EC as seen on the common app were… Biking in the Park, Community Concert Band (1st Trombone), Ska band (Trombone), 2 years of HS Band (before they sucked so much, I had to leave) Guitar, and Built a Rocket.(National Association of Rocketry Level 1 Certification flight: Read, super easy)

Unexpected because although I put that I was an AP Scholar with Distinction, I didn’t self-report any scores, which means I reported none of my AP scores lol

Accepted CAS. Not surprised, and just waiting for news from Ivies!
Thanks, @jjmopp Unfortunately it seems that not just Boston-area schools, but ALL schools this year are extra-competitive! My S is still waiting to hear back from Bucknell (applications up 37% this year!), Lehigh, Washington & Lee, and UVA. He was already rejected from Notre Dame (not a surprise), but fortunately was accepted EA to Villanova. At least he has somewhere to go if all the others turn out like BC.
S was accepted to CSOM. 4.25ish wGPA and a 34 ACT.
