Hey,

Thanks a lot!!

Bump..........Any suggestions will be appreciated!!!

I would say that BC has a relatively decent program of study. If you're doing biology in conjunction with premedicine, I've heard that they have a fairly high acceptance rate with medical schools (I'm not 100% sure on that though). It's also very good for prelaw. So I imagine that their undergraduate studies must be pretty strong. I haven't heard anything really positive about the student body though. However, might I also suggest you look at the University of Notre Dame, as well? It's similar to BC (more competitive though), and I've heard a coworker of my mom, a cardiologist who graduated from Johns Hopkins medical school, speak highly of his experience there.

Yup. Thanks Jordan!! I actually heard a lot of negative comments about the student body at BC. I know BC is famous for its long history, but I am still trying to find what exactly make it stand out at this moment.

I'm also thinking about transferring to Boston College for communications.

My brother has been going to BC and it's a very strong and competitive school from what I've seen. Although he's going for Accounting and Finanace he's managed to get internships for KPMG as well as Price Waterhouse and Cooper, two top accounting firms. I've never heard much about them as being a bio school though, their economics is great though.

Out of curiosity, what have you all heard about the student body that was so negative?

I heard the student body were are rich white kids who are closed minded.

lol, ohh yeah I can definitely see that :P And my brother, and more so my parents have made comments about everyone there being rich and stuff. My family certainly isn't :P (We spent all our money on him so I get to take out loans and go to a state school! Wooo....). Yeah, he fits in with those type of people though I guess....

yeah, not everyones rich there, but there are of course those silver spooned people going there (I guess my brother just pretends to be one :P).

I don't know if I'd go as far to say their closed minded though. And as for just being the white kids, there are also a lot of asian kids at that school, or at least from my experience. I'd say it's diverse enough I guess.
