Boston U vs. University of Rochester

<p>They both gave me slightly over full tuition with the work-study. And I also got into BU’s honors college. I am revisiting BU this week, but I really fell in love with my 3 day visit to U of Rochester last week. All of the admissions people knew my name, they are a great scientific research university,and made me feel like they would be lucky to have me. If I went to U of R I would major in Brain Cognitive Science, but at BU it would have to be Psychology.</p>

<p>I believe they are both really good schools but am concerned for getting into med school that BU might give me a slightly better chance. I am also revisiting BU because at one point they were higher on my list than U of Rochester.</p>

<p>My daughter was also accepted to BU and UofR, among other schools, and has decided to go to UofR. I believe that it is the right choice. She was not offered the honors college at BU though, which made the decision easier. We all really liked UofR the best out of all of her choices, which included Lehigh, Brandeis, Northeastern, Syracuse, Binghamton and Drexel.<br>
Not sure why you think BU would give you a better shot at med school. UofR is very well thought of in the sciences. My daughter will also be in the BCS program, just fyi. Good luck whatever you decide!!</p>
