Boston University all engineering are BS Minors?

<a href="http://www.bu.edu/admissions/academics/programs/majors/%5B/url%5D">http://www.bu.edu/admissions/academics/programs/majors/</a></p>

This lists that all the engineering areas are BS Minors? If I'm looking to major in Electrical Engineering does that mean I will not be able to do it here? I'm just confused because I figured BU would allow me to major in Engineering if they had an engineering college. I can get a full ride here so does that mean I should just pick another major and minor in electrical?

Also I would like to know the exact definition of a bs minor.

Thanks!

Bump, let me know if I need to be clearer or something

Hey Flytta, when I investigated the link you had, I found a few things. First, not all the engineering majors were listed as BS minor. More importantly though, when I clicked on the link to electrical engineering, which was listed as BS minor, if you scroll to the bottom is explains that BU actually offers Electrical engineering as a bachelor of science degree too, meaning you can major in Electrical Engineering.

Okay sweet! I was getting really scared

They’re definitely offered as majors too. Really bad set up for a website. but i think what they meant was that the BS minor was an additional option, not the only option. It appears they assume you will know there is a major lol

You would probably want to go directly to [Boston University College of Engineering](Engineered for Impact | College of Engineering) for more detailed info. If you have any questions, inbox me vie CollegeConfidential. I’m a junior doing computer engineering at BU. The electrical and computer engineering departments are combined here at BU, so I am aware of the curricula.

I think it shows you can get either a BS there or a minor.

If you look here:

[Boston University College of Engineering Electrical Engineering](<a href=“Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering | College of Engineering”>Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering | College of Engineering)

You can see that they offer Bachelor of Science just in electrical engineering, so you should be fine.
