Q :electrical eng major and industrial eng minor

hello everyone , my name is Ali , from saudi , and I'm looking forward to studying engineering .
the problem is , I'm wondering if I can study electrical engineering as a major with a minor of industrial engineering , is there a possibility of doing it? and if there is , which universities offer such a program ?

Depends on the school.

At my school, Electrical and Systems are in the same department (Systems being quite similar to Industrial; Comp. Eng is in the Comp Sci department). Because of this, it was only 1 extra class to get a second degree.

Yes, second degree, not second major or minor (it was 3 extra to get a second major; still a bit confused on that, but whatever).

Other schools I’d imagine would be more difficult, but it’s all very subjective.

Most schools do not restrict which minors you can take, so simply google “minor in industrial engineering” and those schools that offer one will almost certainly offer both electrical engineering majors as well as the opportunity to combine them.
