Did you call them?

that is really strange… have you called and clarified that you applied ED?

I did and they confirmed its ED.

if they’re 100% you’re still ED, then i wouldn’t worry about it too much. maybe there’s just several different messages people might have on their links?

Why would they change mine to what regular applicants have?

i have no idea.
but i thought that even if you’re deferred, you still get the same new links as accepted ones do, they just say slightly different things. and they would have sent an email…

i don’t know. but this is all a little sketchy on their part.

Wait please tell me you guys are Family Guy fans. Cause if you’re not I’m gonna have to stop posting on here…

A little? I’m panicking right now.

they’re actually making me pretty mad right now. they keep sending all these cryptic messages on twitter, yet they’re not releasing them. they were saying things yesterday and tuesday about the decisions being almost done and ready to be sent,
and now i feel like they’re just dragging it out to make us wait.

i’m so annoyed by admissions.

Pillbury. They said you’re still ED so you’re still ED. It seems silly that they would change ONE WORD in that paragraph now… I have the same thing as you but it’s been like that since I applied (and I obviously couldn’t have been deferred the moment I turned it in…unless they hate me lol)

Just keep calm and terrior on.

YES IM MAKING THAT A THING.

*terrier

but i’m loving that slogan!! hahaha.

OH DANG I KNEW THAT TOO. MY PHONE AUTOCORRECTED IT.

No, admissions please accept me still. I know how to spell it. Agh no.

i dont want to worry you guys or anything, but i am a RD applicant and my application status says
We have received your application to Boston University for the September 2013 semester. If you would like to change the college or school of application, or if you would like to discuss your application, please call BU Admissions at 617-353-2300 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time to speak with an admissions staff member.

Mine changed too. Again, I wouldn’t call admissions anymore. It’s like they’re going to say, “no we changed it as a result of your decision.” of course they’re just going to say you’re still ED (which you are until they announce decisions). In fact, contacting admissions at all at this point unless you have a problem is pretty useless. They’re not going to release anything just because people are begging - that’d be pretty unprofessional. They have to make sure their servers won’t crash, mail things, etc.

I’m worried. Really worried.

i’m so fidgety right now, it’s not even funny.
even if they just gave a definite “decisions will be released saturday” or “decisions will be released tomorrow”, it would be better than waiting on “just sit tight!”

True, im glad that we only have two days ahead of us at max and not another week.

did they ever ask anyone to send your Social security number? or W-9S form?

I think they’re doubting your a citizen right now.

i put my SSN on the common app.
what’s a W-9S form?

they made me send the CSS PROFILE and noncustodial parent PROFILE.
nothing else, that i can remember…
