So I’ve been reading through threads about both the Kilachand Honors College and the NUIN program. Northeastern was originally my #1 but after receiving acceptance contingent upon me spending my first semester abroad, I was unsure. Knowing the type of person I am, spending a semester abroad would most likely be pretty difficult to adjust to. I was accepted into the Kilachand Honors College at BU and while BU was not my top choice, this offer makes it more appealing to me as I think I would have a smaller, more close-knit community in such a large school. I’m waiting to hear back from NYU but seeing as it’s so expensive, I think I’m deciding between Northeastern IN program and BU. I would love to hear any feedback from admitted students, transfers, current or previous students–anything helps!
Hey! Current NEU student here - I haven’t personally done the NU.in program, but I know a lot of people who haver done it and had very smooth transitions! Here’s a thread on the program and some experiences with it - it’s not for everyone, but really read through the whole thread. That will hopefully give you an idea of if it will fit you well.

One of the advantages of NU.in actually is the smaller community of students who are doing NU.in - each location really bonds together and when they get back to Boston usually room together too. It can certainly act as a great way to find a small group to connect with.
