Still have not received my decision. Anyone else with my predicament?

@nickscythe i think mainly everyone has gotten their decision by now… you should really contact the admission officers or make sure you handed everything in.

Accepted CAS!
98.3 w gpa
33 ACT

@llegeAcceptanc‌ Yeah. I called them and they said they released decisions on a rolling basis. Applicant Link also says I have everything need for my application. The only thing I wasn’t able to turn in was my midyear report. But I don’t think that should affect it.

@NickScythe‌ Same, have not received anything. Really annoyed at this point lol. Everything was handed in for my application, midyear report and all

@aliciaross168‌ what does your applicant link say? Mine says the same thing it has been for the last few months.

@NickScythe‌ It says that my application is complete and all materials have been sent in… agh this is making me so anxious. All my friends received decisions already.

For those of you who were accepted to the Boston-London January 2016 thingy:
http://www.bu.edu/admissions/admitted/cgs-january-boston-london-program/cgs-boston-london-faq/

@maddiesofie‌ we’re pretty much the same person academically lol. I got in for BME into Kilachand, I’m 2nd in my class in a small-ish school, I had a 35 ACT, and I didn’t get any merit aid.

accpeted to CAS 3.96 UW/ 4.32 W GPA
2080 SAT/1420 two part
National Hispanic Scholar
41k per year combo of aid and merit scholarship

how do u guys suggest looking for roommates bc I don’t have Facebook and therefore can’t join the bu 2019 group and I feel left out?

can someone answer my question on bu grants: are they renewable for all 4 years? i couldn’t find a clear answer on the site and their FA office is closed for weekend

grants are given on a year by year basis. they might change if your income/assets change. it’s not a scholarship that you are guaranteed to get all four years, but you usually will be able to continue getting the grant if nothing changes and the endowment stays strong… essentially, no promises for future years, however, if they gave it to you they do want you to be able to graduate! it’s certainly better than more loans. you do not have to pay back grants, even if you drop out!

also, it is likely that your level of loans will go up over the 4 years. so will tuition. keep this in mind.

Denied to college of arts and sciences Pardee School of Global Studies. 3.6 W GPA 1910 SAT— getting nervous about acceptances (or lack of)

College admissions are so weird. I didn’t even apply to BU. But, the only person (besides our valedictorian) that I know who was accepted to BU is as average as smart kids come… if that makes sense. Anyways, congratulations to everyone who was accepted! I sort of wish I had applied now. BC and Northeastern were crazy this year but BU doesn’t seem like it was that bad. Oh well.

@jjmopp yea it was better for me. guaranteed transfer lol, at least not a rejection again smh. BU wasn’t as active but it was still really holistic (i saw friends with 34 acts get waitlisted and people on collegecomp with like 2100+s get rejected strangely?).

@IllegeAcceptanc Well, the person I’m talking about had an 1800 on the SAT and isn’t an athlete either so it’s weird. I’m happy for them because idrc. It’s just a puzzle trying to figure out what these schools are looking for. We’ve already established that we have pretty much the same stats though so hey, I probably would have been a guarantee transfer too.
