Boston University RD 2023

last year people found out on march 17

for my first semester senior grades, i got a 78 in both ap bio and ap stats. what should i do? should i email them explain them my bad grades or…???

@NJMAN2500 it doesn’t hurt to try… it’s probably better than leaving bad grades unexplained

@lemonstress23 But what would i write/say? any ideas?

@NJMAN2500 Well, you could tell them the real reason for the low grades. But unless it is a documented medical condition or family emergency it won’t help your application, and may hurt it as it will be seen as excuse making.

@TomSrOfBoston Who exactly do i contact, and where do i get their email information from?

@NJMAN2500 You can contact your admissions counselor in your region, usually their emails etc are on the bu website

are we thinking that RD will come out Saturday March 16?

unsure if i’m going to stay up the whole night or set an alarm to wake up in the morning for it haha

Do honors and scholarship notifications come out with decisions?

In terms of overall acceptance I would say it is a 92% chance, so you are likely automatically accepted if you weren’t going into a competitive major, but I am sure the odds won’t decrease with your scores.

Anyone here apply as a Nutrition major :P??

@holycrapola15 I did!! :slight_smile:

OMG! good luck to you!

@holycrapola15 you too!

Little late, but hey guys :slight_smile: I applied to CAS before Dec 1st, can’t wait to get the decision back!

Did anyone get an email today about making sure their portal information is up to date?

@hopingforanswers yes!!

just got an email

just got the email and my portal has updated… deferral letter no longer there!
