I got my financial aid at 7pm last night after viewing the email that says I’ve been accepted at 3 pm. It should be fairly fast that they sent out the aid. Actually got a decent amount so pretty pleased and thankful! :))
Are they doing waves of WL emails, or do you think that this is mostly it?
@chennn7- Awesome on the decent financial aid package! My son was told today that he will have 48 hours to decide, so we are assuming the financial aid package will come today or tomorrow?
Where were you planning on attending before this? My son picked U Wisconsin-Madison (honors college for Physics), and they gave him a lot of money, so we will see what he decides.
@redcloud17 As kids on the waitlist decline, they should send out more emails it seems to me. I would think there is still a chance.
@firstchildgoing Thank you! Actually committed to Stony Brook before this, but after the financial aid awards, BU is only 5k more than Stony. I’ve already paid the deposit for BU!
@chennn7 Congrats! My son’s financial package came and they are offering him a full scholarship! (Which seems unbelievable off of the waitlist, but awesome!) He has paid his deposit to BU too!
