Boston university transfer fall 2020

@corinnaolson did you not receive a decision yesterday?

Is there a way to petition for more aid?

Yeah you can appeal for more aid but you have to give good reasons otherwise your request may be declined. @ahy2000

The admission office just responded to my email, they said "Thank you for contacting Boston University Undergraduate Admissions.

Decisions for transfer applicants will be released on a rolling basis each day until mid-to-late May. Please continue to monitor your email and Portal for updates.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reply to this email or call 617-353-2300 to speak with an Enrollment Service Advisor."
So check your portal everyday guys!

@bamba2208 so they’re gonna release some everyday!!! omg…

@sky1017 Yup! CHECK YOUR PORTAL WHENEVER YOU CAN GUYS!

@bamba2208 I have not received a FA package yet and @sky1017 my decision letter has yesterdays date on it but I checked my portal all throughout yesterday + never received any email so it probably updated late last night

@corinnaolson that’s crazy… CONGRATS hopefully ill be a terrier too!!

Good luck to you all!!! Check all time because I don’t think they’re sending out emails!

For those of you accepted, when and where did you get your FA package?

For those accepted: when did you submit your application? Bc mine was complete on feb 24th and I haven’t heard anything

Does the decision automatically pop up when you log in or do you have to click on a tab or something?

  1. I received my financial aid package one day after receiving my decision
  2. I submitted my application on January 24, but not all my materials were received until about the last week of March.
  3. The decision, when available, should appear immediately when logging in

I still haven’t heard anything back from them yet either. I applied last year early decision then was deferred and ultimately rejected. Really hope I get in and good luck to everyone else still waiting too!

I got my financial aid package with my decision; there should be a tab that says “Financial Aid” and in that another one that says “Financial Aid Decision.”

Also, I submitted my application on March 15 & I still had stuff on my checklist when my decision was released (they received my high school transcript about 4 days before my decision came out, but because I transferred high schools they were allegedly missing the first one I attended despite the courses/info being on my official one. I just ignored it).

Hope this helps, good luck everyone

@2021wdl I submitted mine February 17th, but there were some acceptances for people who applied on the deadline I think

did any one else get accepted today?

@bamba2208 how do i start the appeal process?

Schools generally ask you to write an appeal letter (a real letter). I would suggest you to contact BU and ask them about the process, but it think they’re going to ask to write a letter and send it to them. Good luck! @ahy2000

@ahy2000 look it up on google
