Boston University Transfer for a Second Bachelor's

Hey all,

This is my first time visiting/posting here on CC. I am currently a high school mathematics teacher in Connecticut. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s at a small state school in western NY. I had originally majored in film production before switching to math education and I am looking to revisit my old passion. I am applying to the Boston University Communications program (as a transfer student) for a second Bachelor’s degree.

High School GPA: 3.2 to 3.5 (I don’t have my transcripts on hand at the moment)
Undergrad GPA: 3.39
Graduate GPA: 3.55
SAT: Not required for transfers

Does anyone out there have any info regarding BU’s acceptance rates for second bachelor’s applicants? I feel as though my grades are average, but my experience as a full time teacher makes me look like a unique candidate. I pulled upon those experiences to write the essay, and I hope it sets me apart from other applicants.

I’m curious what everyone out there may think of my situation/probability of getting accepted. Thanks in advance, and good luck in your own college search!
