Boston University Transfers Fall 2018

@TransferFall2018 I can’t speak on financial aid updates, honestly.

@fromma I agree, that’s what I was trying to say.

@r3j3ct3d1 I haven’t gotten any

I swear, waiting is the hardest part about college apps haha

@TheBrady6 Mind sharing your stats when you got rejected?

@TransferFall2018 why does it not look good for you? what does your financial aid thing say? mine says

"Your application for financial aid is complete.

Additional forms may be requested when your application is reviewed. Once a decision is made on your application for admission, a decision will be made on your financial aid. BU will post your admission and financial aid decisions to your BU web account and notify you by email when they are available.

If you would like additional information or have specific questions about financial aid, we recommend that you visit the Financial Assistance Page or e-mail us."

and I have 2 paragraphs for the application status

@koreanincali

That is the same message I have. I just read past forums and noticed people with the financial aid decision “being complete and sent out by mail” being accepted. Maybe I overreacted yesterday when I said that but it has made me feel less confident and realizing I may not get accepted.

One quick question!

Can you guys share when you submitted the application?

I submitted the application at the very last minute :-/
So, just asking. Curiosity!

They took more than 2weeks, getting my college transcript.
Nearly 3weeks. They took forever processing the documents… :frowning:

I have 3 paragraphs for the application status and I have this message: (Note, I turned in the CSS profile late)

"Your application for financial aid is complete.

Additional forms may be requested when your application is reviewed. Once a decision is made on your application for admission, a decision will be made on your financial aid. You will be notified about financial aid by mail and the decision will also be available to you online on the Link.

If you would like additional information or have specific questions about financial aid, we recommend that you visit the Financial Assistance Page or e-mail us."

I believe @koreanincali has a different 2nd paragraph ending sentence from myself.

EDIT: @fromma i’m in the same boat as you. It took forever for them to receive my transcripts.

@TransferFall2018 my brother never had is fin aid sent out by mail, I dont think so at least.

Turned mine in Feb 1rst with a late supporting document for fafsa. i feel anxious now lol…

@cercit20 I submitted the application on Feb.27 :-/

Mine was submitted 12/22 with financial aid submitted on 12/27.

Submitted 2/22 with FA a week later

Submitted 3.1, 2.28 for FA.

Submitted 2/15. No FA.

I have this on my portal. It is “2 paragraph prompt”. However, I realize that “2 paragraph prompt” has two versions.
