I’ve been admitted to both schools and just want to know people’s opinions on them. I used to think that I wanted to go into international studies/political science, but now I’m leaning more towards history and/or business administration. Which school do you think offers stronger programs in these areas? What are some pros and cons for both of these schools? Are there good internship opportunities at both schools? Cost isn’t a deciding factor.
BU’s Questrom school of Business is an extremely strong program and is far more prestigious than AU. For history, however, BU is not well known for CAS so AU could be better. Internship opportunities are readily available in both schools because they are in very urban environments. From my experience, BU has a great Undergraduate development center that is very helpful in giving you network opportunities for internships within Boston.
