It might sound random, but I like going to the Kendall stop on the red line and walking across the bridge (I think it's called River St. Bridge). It has an AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING view of the Boston skyline.

the duck boat tour is fun & it is REALLY popular.
you will see them everywhere.
make sure to have dinner in the North End (italian), it is also huge with the tourists & locals.
also, i don't know where you are staying, but copley square is really cool too and it has 2 malls (copley & prudential) which are connected and the Boston Public Library is there... and i am not a huge fan of libraries, but i was VERY impressed with it. you feel like you are in another world. you just have to go in and walk around.
& then there's Newbury Street, which has very high end shoppes and some really good restaurants and cafe's.

HAHA well there are sooo many things to do! & do not be afraid to go on the subway (T) it is really convenient and you can take it everywhere you need to go. Boston is also a walking city, so be prepared to walk a lot. hope you have fun! obviously i love boston & that's why i'm going to BC!!

id visit a small italian restaurant called chibos or something in the italian section of town. they have the best bread and chicken parmesan ive ever had.

go to Pizza Regina in Boston's North End. They have the best Pizza Ever.
Just be prepared to wait in line. Dont go on a friday night they will be way to packed. Go on an off date.

The bridge that an above user commented on is the Longefellow Bridge. It is between Kendal/Mit and Charles Train Station stops on the RED LINE.

Copley is more of an upscale mall (Neiman Marcus, Saks, Barneys, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo)

On a sunday, go to the South End where they have an artists market... it is very exciting and these are fashion designers who sell their goods (jewelery, artwork, sometimes clothes) before they make it to newbury street. Very affordable outing to do.

Definitely do the Duck Tours

and hit up Filene's basement in downtown crossing (orange or red line) on WASHINGTON street.
