Both of my parents are alumni at the University of Washington (Master’s Degrees) and they both worked for the university (computer programmer and psychiatrist.) We live in another state now, but will this increase my chances of getting in? I have a UW GPA 4.0 and W 4.16 if that helps.
The UW does not have legacy status so having alumni parents would not improve your chances. And I’m almost 100% sure that having them work there would not either because that would be unethical. But as a 4.0 student you have a good chance already
