Boulder Visit

Yay! I'm going to be there April 20th to the 22nd! So excieted. Does anyone know if you can spend a night in the dorms.

I will post details of the trip when i get back.

I don't think you can stay in the dorms. You can sit in on classes though I think.

hey, im going for exactly the same dates.... it shall be fun.... i think we can stay over at a dorm if you make pre reservations, buts its prolly too late now, cuz its like next week... but we can def attend classes or so...

what are you majoring in? I am doing the be a Cu student for a day program. Are you? that would be funny if we met. a little creepy but ok.

if i end up at boulder, im in leeds... so im def gonna go to a business class or so... but ill see how much time i have... not to forget its gonna be 4 / 20 tomarrow :]

CU is in my top two schools... do you guys think that it's worth an extra $13,000 a year? My other school gave me more $$ in scholarships, plus I'm an OOS student... gah such a hard decision... and TCU and Boulder are polar opposites....

go to boulder. unless ur big into rodeos and country music. ft worth doesnt have much to offer other than that and the zoo, which is right next to tcu. i guess dallas is somewhat close, but with traffic it takes a good hour or two to get there on the interstate.

Probably too late for your decision, but responding to the previous post, Ft Worth is NOT 2 hours from Dallas unless it's rush hour in the rain. And there is more to FW than rodeos and country music. Dallas has the state fair, FW has the Speedway, Bass Hall and the better cultural district.

I'm sure that's true of Dallas, but Boulder is a pretty great college town. I love Boulder (no I don't attend CU).

Boulder is an awesome college town. Fort Worth has...well it has the Stockyards and Billy Bob's and honestly, I can't think of much else. And btw, hws56, West End + Deep Ellum = better than Fort Worth :)

Um, if you're looking to party, deep ellum is ok, west end is touristy. FW has the better cultural district - Dallas' is ok but not as good. depends on priorities. don't discount FW.
People I know in Boulder are happy to be there.

My daughter is spending the summer in Boulder on an internship. She loves the place, and is now looking at UCB as a possiblity for grad school!
