D rejected with 1550 and 4.0. Honors, awards, APs, etc. other stats are that she is white and New Englander, not first gen to college, not an athlete, and Bowdoin did say they were looking to expand geographically. Just worried now that there is something in her application that is sabotaging her- a recommendation that’s too bland or something. Haven’t been able to shake that feeling since UMASS did not offer her honors college. So far no acceptances other than UMASS.

Waitlisted…again. Does anyone know the chances of getting off?
Waitlisted (not staying on, I was accepted to Bates and also accepted a spot on Colby’s waitlist yesterday just in case). 1260 SAT (didn’t submit), 5/237 in my class, 3.93 W GPA. Excellent interview, EC’s, and demonstrated lots of interest. Decent recs. My friend got rejected with a 1400 SAT and no interview but otherwise similar stats so I’m assuming the interview is what pushed me over the edge.
