<p>Can anyone elaborate on what the Bowdoin Experience is?
And are just the people who receive early writes invited to go? </p>

<p>So basically a “diverse” group of students(~90) are invited for a weekend to explore Bowdoin. You get to Bowdoin one of two ways: (a) Bowdoin arranges for you to be flown in or (b) you ride the “Polar Bear Bus” which is basically a Greyhound bus that picks up the students from the New England/Mid-Atlantic region (CT, NH, NYC, NJ, MA, etc). So the experience is 4 days and 3 nights. There are a number of events set up for you to participate in such as ice breaker activities, Q&A with the Admissions Counselors and president of Bowdoin, and more. Also, when you guys come up it’s ASA week so there are performances (mainly geared towards the Prospies) as well. So all in all, it’s a nice weekend. </p>
<p>I believe it is mainly early writes who are invited to go. There are students who should be getting early writes next week and in that early write I believe there is the Bowdoin Experience offer.</p>
