Does attending this look good on an HYPS app? How does it compare to others that i've seen on this board like RSI, SHARP, and governor's school? Has anyone here attended? Is it fun? Is it hard to get "elected" to go at boy's state? Thank you!!!

what the hell is boy's nation?

well... considering that a person on cc doesn't know what it is sugests it's not very prestigious... i'll be the 2nd... what is it?

Boy's Nation does look good...or so I've heard....difficulty of getting in depends on your state, I'd think....

Most people on CC are science-oriented...not surprising they haven't heard of it...
Boys' and Girls' Nation is a Model Congress type experience - works on tuning public speaking and decision making skills...You qualify by being elected by peers while participating in a similar statewide process during the summer...
At least I'm pretty sure that's what it is...
right?

is it like Boys' State times 2?

Yeah, what state are you from? If you are choosen for Boys Nation out of a very populous state, such as California, it'll look relaly good. Either way, I'm sure it looks great...Boys State already looks good. And you'll never get another experience like that.

I was a girl stater.

I've heard of it, but didn't know what it was until now.

could anyone tell me if this is on par with other programs in science fields like RSI and SHARP, as well as TASP? It seems to me like it would be just as selective to go to Boys Nation, but i dont know

Boys Nation is quite prestigious. Bill Clinton attended it, for one. It's very hard to get in... two per state out of 1,000 at Boys State, at least in my state.
