BPE Program

Congrats to everyone accepted into NYU Stern Business and Political Economy program! Who here who was accepted plans on attending?

Who WOULDN'T attend if they got accepted?

Sorry, I had to register just to say that.

I got into BPE btw.

haha i'm really glad you felt it was that important. I'm ready to send my deposit for bpe, but my parents still seem to think i'm gonna get into some ivy leagues (which is NOT gonna happen)

hey it said i didnt get into the BPE but because i was close to Im pre admitted to World Track Studies....still a good deal?

People who can't afford it.

I understand that finances can be hard, but there are always loans.

And I think that someone with a BPE degree/experience would be in a position to pay off those loans.

How do you think BPE would compare to a program like Cornell AEM?

Getting $200k in loans really isn't an option.

Oh well, I'll be rejected anyway :P

half of my package were loans...

does anyone know what kind of job/career specifically would we have with the B.S. degree from this particular program? how are our career choices different from the regular stern program?

I have not gotten i yet, is it possible that they havents sent out my acceptance yet, or will I have to go to a UC.

to sn3: AEM does not compare to BPE in the experiences it will provide you. Although Cornell is an Ivy League school, the AEM program has been slipping and my friends there don't like it as much. I am sure that BPE will more closely tailor around your needs and have professors/advisors help you with job placement in the future much better than Cornell can.

I was also accepted to BPE but the finaid package is atrocious.

Could you guys tell me where u live and when u received ur acceptance packet?

I got into BPE today. I'm in So Cal btw. I'm very excited NYU Stern has definitely moved to the top of my list as of now. Now just to see about Ivy league schools and Stanford :-P

I’m probably going to commit to BPE =) I’m really excited about the curriculum! But I’m worried about the living costs abroad aahh.
