is it a good idea to send in a "brag sheet" listing your ec's with a description of each?

Check with your GC on what they recommend, some do recommend a resume.
Although adcoms often say don't so they won't have to read too much stuff in your folder.
As one adcom officer at Yale said "We hate that kid" if a person's folder is really thick ...

I know yale said, they're obligated to read everything you send in. But harvard said some of it gets read and some of it doesn't

That's interesting contrast!

Interesting, my local Yale rep said they'd be happy to read a (brief) resume and synopsis of Intel-level research.

I was advised to do an extended extra curricular chart by my advisor. The tiny common app table is way too cramped. The real problem is, how do you get it to the college? There really is only one way, which is mailing it separately, assuming you are doing an online submission. If anyone has a different idea, can you share it? The common app does not permitting formatting in the additional comments section.

For Genie:

Our local HS GC says if you want to submit a resume,
it should be given to your GC so it can be included in the packet (HS transcript, Counselor Report, etc.) sent to each college.
This seems to be a good way of handling it, so colleges will get your whole packet together, and not little bits here & there via separate mailings.

another thing is by doing all stuff in print ......paper
Anyways as long as it is along with ur transcripts..... it goes off welllll

Remember no matter what adcomm say.....they will some parts of all stuff u send....and unless u send a 345page autobiography ..be sure that all ur supp.will get atleast 1 glance
