Is it crucial that I add this "brag sheet" along with the application?</p>

<p>I am planning on doing the same thing as you. If you are applying online, and would like to send a brag sheet, give it to your guidence counselor to send along with their recommendation.</p>

<p>A brag sheet is basically a resume, but it's not really a resume...it's not meant for the workplace.</p>
<p>I don't recommend sending in a brag sheet unless it's ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY since only the most important extracurricular/other info. should be on your app. and there IS a box for "supplemental info" online</p>
<p>plus it seems like admissions officers really do not want to read an extra brag sheet for each applicant since these brag sheets usually seem to add more fluff than substance (or at least that's the impression that I got from the admissions reps. that visited my school)</p>

<p>Not really sure why a brag sheet would be necessary. The OP specifically said "common app" and the common app does give you the space to expand on EC's, etc. </p>
<p>I think anything beyond that is "fluff"</p>
