I feel retarded in REGULAR physics. I feel even more retarded in precalc H. only because the teacher's incompetent. And I'm a junior.

ouch. TO Happygal: no, I'm in a private school. The teachers are really nice here, well, almost, lol.
I made the same mistake for every single test: 3*2 = 5 ALL the time, ok, I think there's seriously something wrong w/ my brain, lol.

I was doing some sat practice and the same thing happened to me...3*2=5....damn, it must be a worldwide epidemic

haha, I got sooo many budies here, great... I think that calculus is not hard, the only hard part is algebra, lol.

algebra's hard??? c'mon algebra was so much easier than calculus...
you what i wish sometimes? i wish i could go back the time and become like an elementary student or something with all the knowledge that i have right now...lol then i would be called a genius!!

well actually, i just wanna graduate and go to college at this moment:D

haha, what I meant was that when I get to calculus, I'm really dumb in algebra, see what I meant? I keep doing 3*2=5, all the time...

oh i get what you mean hehe.

i can't multiply or add in my head either//lol
too used to calculators i see..

My theory is that calculators have made us dumb....sometimes I even plug in simple additions becuase I don't trust myself anymore!. Yay, yesterday I was doing homework and got all of it right, hopefully this means my dumbness is going away.

16+2= wait, gotta go get my graphing calculator.

That is so me. I can't do anything without my calculator. I take it everywhere.

noo, that's not what I meant!!!!! I'm an anticalculator student, and I can say that I'm able to tell you 1 to 16 time-table. I guess that's why my brain messes up sometimes... It's just like I can tell you what 16^2 is in an instant, but unable to tell what 1+1 is. Well, it's just an example, surely I know what 1+1 is. But what I meant was I could do the most complicated math, but stuck in some simple ones... >_<

interesting van1011... interesting. lol.:D

I know... I'm weird... lol

thats just wierd lol, at least I have the calulator as an excuse for my dumbness lol

haha, I wish I could use my calculator in math though. First it was my dad who took the calculator from me, and now it's my calculus teacher

calc is easy...applying to physics c is soooooo hard...

have heard that many times...and its true.

spanish is impossible unless you are a native speaker. Period!

i dunno, in calc is more your previous concept are lacking. A 6th grader can take a derivative, but most people can't simplify to the point where taking the derivative does not involve crazy, complicated steps...HINT: Learn your trig identitites!

If I can just get one thing u say...

ditto (ten charrrrrrrrr)

anyway, my brain freeze every two days... 2morrow's gonna be it. I just knew it, haha, it's a pattern

my pre-calc and calc teacher spoiled me. he gives us group tests, open book tests (with problems clearly explained), and he gives lots of partial credit. my geometry teacher, ms. nazi was the opposite. the alg 2 teacher was the only normal, good one. my calc teacher was like "know that sec is 1/cos and the unit circle and all that and that sin ^2 + cos ^2 = 1 and how to get the other 2 from that, but don't worry about like addition of cosines rules, log addition rules, vector rules, or any of that stuff. I don't memorize, you don't need to"

I wish I had your precalc teacher okinawa. Wanna switch teachers?
