wow, okie... I love all my math teachers, well, except for the precalc one. I was in her class for one day. The bell hadn't rang yet, and she just kept writing on the board all the equations and stuff for the whole period. Finally, I talked to my guidance counselor the next day and move to AB without taking precalc. I dont like her...

well since I finished precalc, you can have him but I still get to finish up the year with him for ap calc. (i was so worried about ap calc because i thought i would be screwed since he was easy in pre, but i saw him on my schedule and jumped for joy. it's inevitable that ill have to retake some sort of calc in college though to learn it right..not just using the book to learn and then bsing)

uhmmm, I dont like to have same teacher for 2 years... where r u? I mean what state?

new jersey.

i like good teachers twice

i get

history teacher: 3/4 years

math: 2/4

bio for honors and ap same teacher

chem for honors and ap same teacher

gym/health obviously same

forgein language teachers can be the same easily, but werent for me

lit teacher for 2 lit years and journalism

i love the bio and chem teacher to death though so im glad to have them.

i dont like readjusting my learning style and writing style and doing poorly on a first test that i may not know what to expect. ya know? i love repeat teachers.

ohh ok, I c btw I'm in NJ too, sweet, probably we're in the same school. ^_^
Same teachers will be great if you like them. If they suck! hmmm, better have different teachers each year!

yes, i like most of my teachers. just the lit teacher got annoying and so did some of those gym teachers. what county you in?

Last year, I had Euro. This year, I'm taking APUSH. My APUSH teacher is my former Euro teacher's wife. They kinda compete for attention-the "who do you like better?" thing. It's kinda cute, but kinda annoying at the same time.

If I have my precalc teacher for AB, I'm going to drop and self-study it. I'm better off self-studying it since my precalc teacher has a talent for making things way more complicated than need be.

oh yeah ihateCA, that was my geometry teacher. She just gave us theorems to memorize and didn't teach us how to do proofs and then gave us like 20 step proofs.

that geometry teacher's husband is the woods teacher. i hear he's a jerk too and demands perfection.

oh so I guess okinawa and ihateCA are in the same school? I'm in Atlantic county.
my Calc teacher is the best ^^ but the board of education makes her teach algebra next year, what a waste ><

im in warren county. and when i said that was my geo teacher, i meant that she acted that way not literally same person. i think ihate is from california hence the name. our calc teacher teaches all the honors math classes this year and (hon geo, hon alg 2, hon pre, AP calc) its his first year hon geo and hon alg 2. the freshmen are gonna learn nothing having him 4 years straight. my alg 2 teacher was awesome though but she retired and couldnt teach our pre-calc like i wanted her to

awwww!!!!!! you should write a letter and ask her back! ^^
I'm in Mainland High School btw.
We have the best teachers on Earth <well, in="" my="" opinion="">. I love all my teachers, except for the substitutes.</well,>

i was thinking about writing her to write me a rec for college because she was my 2nd favorite ever (next to bio and close tie maybe with chem) she was here 36 years, getting pretty old, only the bio teacher has her beat with 39 years. usually the smart classes get the better teachers, but not always.

plus if she came back, there' s no more math classes for senior year to take

oh so I guess okinawa and ihateCA are in the same school?

Um no.

lol. ihateCA!
a random questioin to ask at this point,

but why do you hate CA??

i live in CA btw;)

I live in Monterey...it's in the middle of nowhere. People here are kinda conceited and snobbish (and not to mention rich&old). It's a different story from like rich people in LA..rich people in LA are like, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie...at least they're famous. Rich people here are like 90-year-old people.

To add salt to the wound, I lived in NYS, about 40minutes from NYC, before I moved out here. Where's the nearest "city?" Salinas. How far? 40 minutes. What's there to do? Nothing. Where's the nearest "metropolis?" San Francisco. How far? 2 hours by car. What's there to do? I don't know, but less than in NY. So being a big metropolis fan, Monterey's a nightmare. AND I hate the car culture...the fact that CA people seem to have a fetish with cars...at least in San Diego and where I live...I mean at San Diego they have traffic jams on SUNDAY AFTERNOON!!! What the hell?!?!? And where I live, there's nothing to do. The nearest "shopping mall (ie. one that HAS MORE THAN 30 stores)" is in Gilroy-40 miles away, 1hr by car. The nearest mall in NY was 10 minutes by car.

So that's why you hate California. I always thought that living in NorCal wasn't so bad, but I guess you're in a place that's not that close to where I am. The nearest city is 0 minutes for me, nearest metropolis (San Francisco) would be one hour, and nearest shopping mall would be 5 minutes. It's no wonder that you are complaining. I probably would, too. And not only does San Diego have traffic jams, Los Angeles (who would've guessed...) has slow weekend traffic as well.

I'm going down to the Asilomar / Pebble Beach area next week for some leadership conference. That's like what, 3.5 hours away? I'll get to visit the beach and miss three days of school. Yay.

lol./ yea. good for you kchen;)

and ihateCA, you shouldn't hate CA only because of where you live... well,, but then again, I can't wait to go to east coast for my college!! i wanna get out of here... and experience something new.:D
