Personally I'm not all to sure as to which of these schools that I want to go to. I'm thinking of doing a double major in biology and psychology.
Financially wise, I'm getting a full tuition and fee scholarship from Stonybrook and a 22k in aid for Brandeis. Could you please help me in deciding which school I should attend?</p>
<p>Net price and how much debt at each school?</p>
<p>Do your post-graduation plans include professional school (e.g. expensive medical school)?</p>
<p>Net price, Brandeis is around 35k a year while Stonybrook is around 10k a year.
Debt wise, for Stonybrook, my family probably will be able to pay the full price, while I’m not all to sure for Brandeis
Post-graduation, I want to go to graduate school.</p>
<p>Regarding graduate school, PhD programs are generally funded if they are worth doing. Professional school (e.g. for MD, JD, etc.) tends to be very expensive.</p>
<p>Note that biology does not have particularly good job prospects, so staying out of debt would be a good idea.</p>
