do most ucla students eat breakfast? i mean, is breakfast like a buffet also or is it just like a serving of cereal or something? i would think that most students have class in the morning and cant eat breakfast, but instead they wait for lunch? or do people mostly buy things to stuff in their dorms for breakfast?

i also heard on weekends, ucla only serves for 2 eating periods. i would think that on weekends, most people have the time to eat, so how does that fare?

i'm planning on buying a mini fridge and stocking up on milk and yogurt. cereal for breakfast, or yogurt.

iwantcal, what meal plan did u get?

yeah, quite a few people eat breakfast. breakfast is about the same stuff everyday (pancakes, waffles, omelettes interchangeably at each dining hall) and then there's always like bread, cereal, biscuits/gravy etc etc..weekends is 2 meals in that there is a brunch (which serves breakfast and lunch items) and then dinner, since no one is gonna get up at 7 AM to eat breakfast on the weekend.

Breakfast in the dorms is the same every day... I used to eat breakfast, until I started taking four classes every quarter.

so would 14p for a freshmen who wont go home on weekends be good enough? flopsy, do u eat 2 meals a day only or what?

i have 14b and its enough. by the time i wake up, breakfast is over already anyways.

I'm on 14 Premier and thus eat two meals a day... most students eat two meals a day (lunch and dinner), especially on weekends and those days with only afternoon classes.

I don't eat breakfast... it really depends upon your schedule, though. 3 days a week, earliest class at 12:30... yeah, no breakfast ;)

i got the 14p...so when i go home on the weekends, the meals can rollover. i'm not a big breakfast person anyway.

what time is breakfast from?

I eat breakfast everyday! It's the first thing I look forward to each day!

same here..not to mention some coffee

Depends on your schedule. If you're earliest class is at 1pm, chances are you'll sleep in til like 11 and then have lunch at 12 before class. Now, if you have an 8am class, then you're probably gonna have breakfast. I have an 8am class 2x a week and I always have breakfast after that class.

Breakfast hours:
Bruin Cafe: 7am-onwards
De Neve - 8am-10am
Rieber 7am-9am

Nope, no breakfast here. It gets old pretty quick. I love breakfast foods... but two brunches in a row already ruined my appetite.
