<p>Alright...I agreed with you on another thread about how people with low SAT scores got into Wharton, but this is sort of unnecessary. Just because they got lower scores doesn't mean they're "idiots".</p>

<p>Let's face it--SAT scores aren't everything. Penn would much rather have interesting kids than students who spend all their time studying. This is not to say that having high scores is a bad thing--it certainly isn't. However, it's only one piece of the puzzle and Penn weighs other factors more. If someone started their own business or has done something else exceptional outside of the classroom it is going to count a lot more than the extra 200 points you got on the SAT or the extra .3 you had on your GPA. You don't have to like it but that doesn't mean that the others are stupid. Almost everyone at Penn is qualified enough to be there. Your ideas are about what makes a student qualified are wrong, not Penn's.</p>
<p>Testing ability does not equal an ounce of a person's true talent. Get over it.</p>

I cant imagine anyone being successful in business who is still pouting over getting rejected. maybe if you didnt spend 1 billion hours on this site and weren't so sure you would get in, things would have been different. get a life.<br>

<p>when I visited Penn, some current Wharton students told me Wharton only looks at 2 factors:
1. skin color
2. ECs</p>
