grrrr...you lied to me. :p I thought this was going to have something exciting in it

You got me :(

lol u got me to i thought there was gonna be some big news on this.. haha just because u did this NO one's gonna answer your question hahaha

Ahh, I opened this expecting it to say something like:

Standardized testing is not required anymore!

Wishful thinking, I guess.

So...uh, what about the Mock Trial yo?

Sorry but this name isn't going to draw any mock trial-ers, except by accident. See it's karma...;)

Is mock trial impressive to colleges? I hear its about the same as MUN in terms of how impressive...but I'm not sure.

it's not that impressive if you didn't win anything of importance

MUN is impressive, right?

lol .

Is it impressive or not? If you accel at it, won't they like it?

yes if you excel, but that's true of anything on your college application (unless it's like porn or something ;))

Of course, if you excel at any activity, then the colleges will like it. However, how do you really excel at MUN?

Doing well at hard conferences, like Harvard Model UN.

woah. . .there's a Harvad MUN? woah. . .haha, I am not even in MUN; I quit because it conflicted with Speech. . .

But how do you do well? Do they judge you on how well you speak?

Yes. For example, out of 150 students, I received the "Outstanding Delegate" award (handed to the best two students) on a particularly difficult commitee. These types of awards carry great weight.

Our school used to do Mock Trial, but not anymore. We have a bunch of disgrntled teachers who are most likely going on strike in the fall. We have had Model UN the last couple of years, but the advisor will no longer be teaching at our school.

I was almost certain that you were referring to Senator Reid's stroke

John Candy is dead? Lucy Liu and Calista Flockhart had a same sex kiss on prime time TV? We have a new Pope? THE WORLD HAS GONE MAD!
