Hi guys,
I have a question. I am currently in grade 11 and am doing my AS level now.
Here are the following grade I got for my GCSE. We had to do it as teacher assessed due to Covid.
8-8 combined science (Oxford AQA)
A* ICT (Cambridge)
6 maths (Edexcel)
6 DT (Oxford AQA)
6 English first language (Edexcel)
B business (Cambridge)
I am taking IT,chemistry , Biology and maths for AS level. I think i will get A’s in all of them but maybe a B in chemistry.
I also think I will go great in SAT’s and I also do lots of extra curriculum
I really want to get into Georgia tech in Atlanta. To do computer science or AI. Do you think I will be able to get into it with these grades. Plz help.
You need to have 3 As at A-level before you enroll, so As for AS level are a good start. But- are those your estimation or actual predicted grades? Did you only take 5 GCSEs? Is that normal in your school? Are you in England, so those marks are 6/9?
The AS-Level grades are estimation from myself. I am in UAE, we are doing British curriculum. We did 8 GCSE’s from which the 3 sciences were graded as combined science, so they were given to grades. So that’s why I got 8-8 in combined science.
And yes the A* is a 9
8-8 is an A-A
6 is a high B.
So because I am doing British curriculum I will have to send my application at the start of grade 12. So I won’t have my A-level results. I will be applying based on my AS-level and GCSE grade and SAT.
If I do get good in My AS level. Like all A’s and get a high SAT score will I be still able to get into Georgia tech with the GCSE grades that I got?
I appreciate you help.
Many universities will require your predicted A Level results.
