Britney Spears...good or bad?

Okay, so I am debating whether or not to mention Britney in one of my Yale short takes. The question asks how I would spend a free weekend, and I said I would make a fool of myself by singing and dancing to Britney Spears with my friends. My question to YOU is if that is appropriate per se for a Yale application. I don't feel like it's bad...it's just not intellectual. Everything else in my application is super serious, so I thought that this would balance it out. I would consider myself out there so I want to convey that, even if it's just in this one question. What do you think?

Thank you so much to whoever answers!

P.S. I actually do listen to Britney...I'm not trying to sound pseudo-quirky.

P.P.S. I know I already posted this in the College Admissions forum...I have to ask this question in the Yale section too though!

If you think it really portrays who you are, then do mention it.

^ agree…

First of all, I don’t think that a 150 character (25 word) sentence is going to make or break your application to Yale. That being said, as others have stated, if it really portrays you or is something important, then you should write it- especially if the other parts of your app reflect your intellectual side.
