@WandG94 - that’s pretty strong language. The program is clearly in some financial trouble and that’s bad but it doesn’t make it a “scam” to be poorly managed. If you want to say the owner is unethical, that might also be appropriate but only if you actually know something of substance about it beyond having read an article from an online blog. This article was already posted on CC earlier today.
I’m not sure I’d use the word “scam,” but the onstage blog is not just some random online blog. They are a good source of reliable information. Regardless of the level of the training, I’m not sure I’d want to risk my child attending a program where they’re not paying their instructors, especially when there are plenty of good quality, ethical programs out there to choose from.
@CTDramaMom Agree completely and you make a good point. The saddest part of all this is that the kids in need were mislead.
@Notmath1 I totally agree. And from what the blog said, Broadway Breakthru is claiming they will pay 2018 instructions with 2019 monies - well, then what are they going to pay 2019 instructors with?
New info. Looks like Broadway Break Thru will be seeing legal action, and not for last year, but 2016. Definitely would never recommend this organization.
