<p>i was looking into brooklyn college, but being from the bay area i have no idea about how good of a school it is in terms of education quality, student diversity, rankings, etc etc so does anybody know anything about this school or does anybody go here?</p>

<p>Since brooklyn college is a CUNY, I dont think they have dorms, so be prepared to buy yourself an apartment. Its in the east flatbush area of Brooklyn, so the student body is mixed. I have a couple of friends that go there and seem to like it apparently wild parrots live on the campus (dont know if thats a good thing). Their education school gets a lot of good reviews. I got a scholarship there when I applied, so I know they give good fin aid.</p>
<p>As part of the CUNY System, Brooklyn College is unfortunately underfunded and not too strong a program (with the exception being their Biomed program). On the flipside, you won't find a more diverse school or a better locale to spend your four years, it's just a short subway ride from the heart of NYC.</p>
