Can anyone offer their opinion or experiences with either school and how they differ in atmosphere, academics, athletics, etc.? Is there a defining characteristic that separates one from the other? Thank you in advance for any input.
DS interviewed at Governor’s but not at Brooks. And our interview was when class was not in session, so we didn’t get a feel for the school with students there. So we can’t really give you that perspective. However, he did enter a school in the ISL and has competed in fall sports at both a JV and varsity level. What I can tell you is after the fall sports season, (actually, just a few days ago) I asked him which school’s team had the best sportsmanship of all of the teams he’s competed against (they did a few invitationals, so this will include schools outside ISL). He said Governors did, hands down. I know this doesn’t specifically answer your question, but to me that spoke volumes about the culture/atmosphere at Governor’s.
^^ Actually, @buuzn03 , I think that might be a really good indicator!
Thank you @buuzn03 for the response. I too think that speaks volumes about the athletes and what’s expected of them.
