<p>and i am reasonably excited. i saw my english teacher at the rufus/ben concert last summer.</p>
<p>ha that's funny. but anyway the concert was really good, although ben's set was a bit shorter than rufus' because he had a cold! I didn't know they were touring together last summer.</p>

<p>I am SO excited for seeing Rufus Wainwright. The only thing I'm not excited about for that night is that its my boyfriend's last night before he drives up to college (14 hr drive). It just basically means its going to be even more intense and there's going to be no sleep. </p>

<p>Oh, I didn't know they toured with Guster last year. Ben Lee was pretty good; he was funny too and totally ok with the fact that he was just the "filing in" music. Ben and Rufus were funny too. Ben conducted the audience to sing part of the chorus of "Not the Same" and Rufus made a lot of jokes; he's a funny guy!

<p>Seems like there are a lot of fun and interesting people here - and I second the good taste in music. I think a lot of you would be happy with WBRU (Brown's radio station) and one of the few good rock stations left in Rhode Island. (I live 10 minutes away from Brown).</p>
<p>But yeah, a little about myself. I'm applying to Brown based only on the fact that Brian from Family Guy went there (my fav character) and Meg wanted to get in there too. Seriously though, Family Guy is awesome and my city is rumored to be the fictional "Quahog" since it is the only major city not mentioned in the show at all. </p>
<p>I work in a Brown-affiliated lab under a Brown professor, which is pretty cool most of the time. And if you have any questions about the Providence area just ask away since I've lived here my whole life.</p>

most of my extracurriculars aren't film/production related...it's just a concentration that i can really envision myself pursuing</p>
