My interviewer called me.

Mine emailed me. A much more formal email than other interviewers have sent, btw, in which she told me (not suggested, but actually required) to bring a resume. Aren’t they given some idea of our applications beforehand?

i think they are teenage_cliche. my interviewer told me specifically not to bring a resume because brown already has all of that stuff. I guess its based on personal preference of the alumni interviewer.

They do not see your whole application, only a tiny tiny part of it. Yes, BROWN has that stuff, they do not. Only application readers in admissions will see your detailed information, it’s a privacy thing.

FYI In case you missed it:

airegin:haha cool! i’m from hong kong, which is basically china. did you get an interview?

people, this application process its so complicated!

^complicated? i dont think so
stressful? HECK YES

My interview is today, I live in a small city where everyone knows everyone and supposedly my interviewer graduated from my school like 5 years ago. I don’t know who this guy is. Super excited to find out what happens…

aja! its the same thing! however it makes crazy any person!

Whoooo. I FINALLY got my interview request. I checked my e-mail after school and she had just sent it (around 5 minutes previous to me checking it). I felt like she’d think I was obsessively refreshing my e-mail until I got the request because I replied so fast. Lol.

How did we all let this thread die? Here’s a topic… How has everyone been coping with this wait for decisions? :D

Hahah I just got my interview too DRP I’m so happy that I got one because I love interviews because I love to talk haha =]

And I’ve been good, just worried about financial aid =/

^Trying not to think about it…but that never works. :P

Ugh. Yeah. I just finished the FAFSA. I had all my parent’s tax papers from last year. So it really didn’t take too long to fill out the CSS and FAFSA. CSS took about an hour, and the FAFSA was about 30 minutes. My teacher was telling me how it took her 4 days to get through the CSS and a couple hours for the FAFSA. >_>
Now to just wait for all of this year’s tax stuff to be done and send all that!

I’ve tried not to think about it. But since I’ve applied, it seems that whenever I turn on the TV or go on the computer, there’s something college related to make me dwell on it again.

I’ve been working on the FAFSA too…it wasn’t too hard actually.

I know what you mean! After turning in my app I thought I’d be relieved, since I’ve done what I can, but I still can’t stop worrying about it. D:

I had actually managed to put it all in the back of my mind…until I had my interview today. Now of course my free time is spent analyzing every word i uttered in those 72 minutes. Ughhhhhh, I need April to be here!

My interview is in one and a half weeks, haha.

I agree, April needs to get here faster!

My FAFSA requirement disappeared from the page of FIN AID. yesterday it said that was required and today is not there anymore! i really want them to see fafsa instead of CSS PROFILE. i am afraid i don’t get enough money because of that. does any of you have the same situation?

My FAFSA requirement disappeared a few days to a week after I submitted it. Now it only shows CSS as satisfied, but it says no others requirements are outstanding so I’m not too worried.

no contact for interview yet
my classmate got his though, and it was a phone one

my interview was in jan 2, the interviewer never attended and i was not able to talk personally with her, at the end we used the email. :(
