Thank you Mahogany for saying more clearly what I was also trying to say!

ummm can someone elaborate on the character increase?

Thanks Mahogany and BrownAlumParent! This is really helpful and comforting!

I really like that the adcom cares about an applicant’s warmth, Mahogany–the applicant as a distinct, quirky person, more than 800s. ( Or at least as much…) How many other Ivies can say that? GO BROWN.

Me…I really hope I get in… Brown is my top choice school

Just submitted! May the waiting game begin. Best of luck to all you other EDers! I really hope we all end up happy regardless of where we go to school.

Zomg; waiting is so difficult and I only submitted my supplement yesterday.

Has anyone got their login info?

I DID! Has anyone heard about Alumni interviews yet? And does anyone know how we’ll hear about them? I’m so excited! :)

Alumni interviews depend on your regional officer and how fast they get stuff out to the interviewers. I believe I heard by phone; some interviewers may email you instead.

Yes, you will get a phone call or e-mail from your assigned interviewer. This may take a while, as the names have to get regionally sorted, and then assigned by the regional rep to interviewers. Please check that both your e-mail address and your phone #s are correct when you get your sign on. I have e-mailed students and not heard back for 3-4 weeks, only to have them say they listed a school e-mail or some other not regularly checked address and it was not forwarding to their other e-mail as they thought! Sometimes you may not be assigned an interviewer until close to the end of interviewing deadline (some areas such as CA always have a shortage of available interviewers compared to the numbers of applicants), so be patient, but check your contact place (e-mail and voice mails) frequently enough. If your contact info changes, make sure to update the info with Brown.
Also if things get close to the deadline for interviews, and you have not heard anything, do get up with Brown. Sometimes the best intentioned volunteers just do not work out, or something has gotten lost.

49 MORE DAYS UNTIL DECEMBER 15! Just saying …

49! Tis hardly any. YAYAYYAYAY

The wait is killing me!

I submitted my supplement ED last week and still no login info. I know that they say it can take up to two weeks, but that would mean that I won’t be able to find out if there is anything wrong with my application until after the deadline. :-(

If there’s anything missing from your application, they’ll let you know even after the deadline.

I know, I just don’t want to be “that guy” haha. Thanks for the response!

I’m applying as well! I’m a bit disappointed and freaked out about the character increase, though. I submitted my supplement on October 5th, so hopefully it doesn’t hurt too much. I wonder how harsh they are on arts supplements.

Well, good luck to everyone! I can’t wait to be a part of those ED Decision Threads everyone on here has been looking at in horror for years… Hard to believe that’s us now! haha

Submitted mine Thursday night!
Now it’s just a waiting game… 46 days.

I feel so late… Submitted my supplement a while back, but submitting the Common App today. So excited and nervous!!

I submitted mine a couple weeks ago and have my interview on Tuesday!
