^I have the same thing. I’m sure it means nothing.

Yeah, I looked up the finaid tab on previous CC posts and it looks like everyone has it. I had gotten all excited for a second…

@alexis cornell got your back! and your defs getting in somewhere else.

LOL POmani “divine intervention is going to help me get into Brown”

I FEEL YOU BROTHA, I got into BU and Northeastern this week but Brown is my toppity tippity top choice O_O

^Haha, cheers mate.

@sanguinee
Trrruuuuueee. xD lulz

br2pi5! c:

Divine intervention couldn’t get me into Brown. But maybe my awesome interview might be enough to push it over?

On that point, I am wondering how everyone’s interview went! Mine was a phone interview - only lasted around 20 minutes although I’m not too worried because when the interviewer first contacted me she said it will only last around that much - and nothing special really. Just a typical college interview except in the very beginning I was told that nothing I do will influence my admissions decision. Don’t know how much of that is true… :)

@wolfymozy

My interview was almost the exact same without the “nothing you will do will affect…” disclaimer.

@wolfymozy
Was your interviewer from Providence RI?

@william95 no, Toronto Canada I guess… since I reside in Toronto

My interview went so well! It was one of my first interviews, so I was a bit nervous, but we really hit it off - talked about living in Europe, learning to drive, standardized tests… it was just a really nice conversation. At the end, she gave me the whole “Brown is a long shot” spiel and then said that her goal is to get me in :)

@ stupiddorkyidiot awww that’s so good! I wish I had one of those personal interviews! Both of my interviews (I only had two) were pretty generic and a little too professional hahahah

My only interview that really stood out was Harvard. He was this really cool college professor and for the first half hour we just joked around, talked politics, etc. the interview ended up going wayyy over the length he originally estimated, and he said I was the strongest candidate he had ever interviewed. Then he told me he had never gotten anyone in, lol.

Hey I hope it is not too late to join this thread!
I was deferred from ED, but Brown is still my top choice.
All the best to all of us!!!

My Harvard and Brown interviews were both awesome, but Brown was the best. The guy was a bit older but just retired and super upbeat… He also happened to work in an industry that I have a lot of interest in, and so we talked about that for a while… In all, it was about 2 hours long. Too bad interviews are relatively meaningless.

another question about the FA portal - my CSS profile says “CSS Profile(Undergraduate)/ Need Access(Medical School Only).” I’ve noticed the portal serves all of their schools, so does everyone’s look like like this? or is it possibly because I applied to PLME? just curious…

Stupiddorky - Nope! I can see it too and I’m an english major.

How do I access the financial aid portal?

Does anybody else see a ‘Cost of Attendance’ sort of thing within the Financial Aid pages?
