Do all the ivies release at the same time? If so, what time?

5 pm EDT/2 pm PDT (all)

Except that Brown has been known to release admissions in 3 waves before. 5pm 6pm 7pm (all EST)…I do not know if they will stick to that this year as well or not.

I’ll check at like 2 AM when no one’s awake…

@tiva_mcabby5, So no one told you life was gonna be this way…

Expecting evening of Mar.27th EDT (Morning of mar. 28th of my time zone) but nervous.

I just received a likely letter. Since my stats were so bad I thought it was an early rejection before I opened it.

@Semaj6100 Congratulations!!

@book05 Thanks! I feel pretty relieved that I most likely won’t be rejected from every college that I applied to now.

@semaj6100 was it an email or an actual letter?

It was an actual letter. I haven’t gotten anything in my email.

Congrats on your likely letter, Semaj!

Ivy Day feels so far away…and right now, I’m okay with that.

*small glimmer of hope for the mail tomorrow *

A little over a week to go!

By the way, does anyone know if Brown factors in applicants’ interest?

@Lilliana330 Yup, <a href=“Office of Institutional Research | Brown University”>Office of Institutional Research | Brown University;

@TrinidadJames22 Yeah, I got that impression from the supplement but didn’t realize it was official. They sent me an email about a week ago, letting me know that I hadn’t yet logged into my application portal. Guess I’m rejected. Oh well.

@Lilliana330 Man, I don’t even know. Brown’s supplement just didn’t make much sense. It actually angered me, because I feel like Brown is the ideal place for me (chill, down to earth, self driven individuals).Yet I feel like I generated a run of the mill, perfectly written but boring supplement.

It’s not even the questions really, it’s the 100-150 word limits on the first three. How much can you say in 100 words?

One of my friends showed me Stanford’s supplement like 3 days before the deadline and I just had to apply. That school knows how to design a supplement.

@TrinidadJames22 Yeah, it was pretty constraining. Guess we’ll just have to wait & see. /:

Haha I loved the Stanford supplement. Felt like I rushed half of it but still came out decent.

Crap. Is Brown one of those schools that cares about how frequently you check its portal? I hadn’t checked in a month and a half, but when I logged in just now I noticed it showed the time (down to the second) of my last login. I mean, I guess it’s a way to gauge applicant interest if that’s a factor in admission, but there’s not really anything to look at on the portal after setting it up. I hope this doesn’t count against us…:(

@coriander23 on the flip side I am literally embarrassed about how many times I’ve checked some of my portals for any glimmer of information, so wondering if anyone was tracking those they’d be like “what the heck?”
