Waitlisted with 2320 and 800/780/770 subjects; 4.0 UW rank 1/432; Good ECs; Good essays!

Whatever, nobody from my school has ever gotten into Brown and only 2 out of around 28 in the past 7 years have been waitlisted, so I guess that’s good.

I am kinda pissed though because I didn’t get into any Ivies…

Wow this thread is way more encouraging than Yale’s…(rejected, rejected, rejected…). Congrats guys! I’m checking tomorrow as I have a final Friday and don’t want to get unduly distracted.

Waitlisted, but at least there’s still a seed of hope in an otherwise barren wasteland of prospective schools. Although I’ve been accepted to several great liberal arts schools in the Northeast, I didn’t realize until about February that my father is really only willing to pay for an Ivy League school as he’s a shrewd businessman and sees them as a good investment while the others he can’t really understand the appeal for. Rejected from Princeton with Brown as my top choice to begin with, I can only pray that they see something in my application during a new review of my application that they didn’t see before. I’m counting on you admission officers.

Rejected, oh it burns. Also rejected from 4 others schools, haven’t gotten in anywhere yet. I think I’m giving the guy from “Accepted” a run for his money. Congratulations to all that are in! I’ll go be sad somewhere else.
