Hi Everybody!!
I’m a mom and I just want to say how amazing and hardworking you all sound. I will be praying that you all get accepted Thursday. Please don’t keep your parents out of the loop. We want this just as bad as you do, if not more! haha My daughter is so busy right now with classes, work and soccer, so she hasn’t been able to come here and introduce herself yet. But she is so derserving of this. The kid works her butt off and has had 2 concussions in the past year and a half. It has not been easy but her grades are stellar. However, she is freaking out over ACT and SAT scores. We are from Florida, only 12 percent applied fom the south. Hoping that’s a good thing. I have a question. We are part hispanic. Does anybody know if minorities are put in a different category and looked at against each other or looked at with everybody? I know they have quotas.

Happy birthday @abarber15! Hopefully Thursday is even better!

Minnesota here—Midwest represent! Fingers crossed SO HARD for Thursday. It sounds cheesy but even just reading this thread reminds me of why I loved Brown so much when I visited. The kind of people that go there (and want to go there) are so incredibly kind, genuine, and all around wonderful. I’d love for all of us to be classmates in 2019 <3
