Wait, what’s this website with names and such…
Never mind, i found out how to do it, and I’m able to navigate through it and everything
On the page that has my name on it, I see other people who don’t have emails assigned along with students who do. I wonder what that means…
i would say that i know two students who currently attend Brown, and i don’t see their names when i search. Also, the other people applying ED at my school’s names don’t show up…
I see my name and someone else I know who has applied there ED
I know two people who currently attend Brown. One of them has their name listed and the other one doesn’t. So obviously not everyone has their name on this, but I don’t understand the difference yet.
by the way, i see someone who currently attends brown, and in their email spot, it says “name at Brown dot edu”, instead of “name@brown.edu”… did anyone who is applying see their email?
I’m gonna assume the list of names is just people who have logged into the wiki.
@lolalollipop true, but do you know what the emails mean? because i don’t have an email next to my name…
I think the emails are Brown students
@lolalollipop hopefully so…
Alright everyone take a deep breath, we don’t have to dissect everything, it’ll be ok!! Only 5 more days!!
@barbaragordon I just tried it and didn’t get a “not permitted” message either. it’s probably just a rumor though
ohhhh myyyyy gooodnesss guys this is making me so nervous lol im going to develop a heart condition waiting for results to come out
@CCLOLL No, I am not an athlete unfortunately. I have an unweighted 3.999 and including this year, 9 AP’s taken.
@Gdawg30 ok. your gpa looks perfect.
@CCLOLL I submitted an art portfolio, and I think it is pretty good if that means anything…I’m also a boy
a current student and I were trying to come up with the reason why appx. 50 applicants come up on the Brown wiki, and the student came up with a theory:
when you log-in to the wiki, an account is created for you. that’s why not even all brown students are listed on the wiki and a lot of cc’ers are.
@Gdawg30 i mean yea. Something is also better than nothing unless it is something awful. I’m pretty sure your art portfolio will give you a little bit of push. However, let’s face the truth. Unless your works are incredible, they are not going to be the decision making factors. And you have to realize, there are a lot of people applying for Brown and other top schools who have at least some “unique factors” in their application along with good grades and essays. Although you have a chance of getting in, I would look for some RD schools just in case things don’t work out well.
@CCLOLL I wish I could post a pic on here
