Good luck to all awaiting the decision. Here is some perspective from my son’s experience. He got in to Brown but also got the Trustee Scholarship at BU. We let him decide knowing that if he went with Brown he would have to take some loans (maybe $5000/yr) but if he picked BU he would have the money we saved for his college to use towards grad school or just for savings. He is now a sophomore at BU and could not be happier. He has had amazing opportunities and is taking full advantage of all BU and the city of Boston has to offer. So while it’s nice to get accepted to an ivy, it’s not the be all and end all. You can even reject them! You will go on to do great things wherever you go and you will definitely want to put the money into grad school.
So nervous I might actually throw up.
