This is so stressful… mine is also only submitted, but honestly, I don’t believe any claims that there is a way to see if one was admitted or not ahead of time. I have finals in my university classes next week, and I work all weekend starting right after school Thursday, so I’m trying to mentally prepare myself to get through it after I get rejected/deferred (because I know I need to be prepared, since that is the more likely outcome) but it’s so hard waiting
@mackblue Yep. Sorry.
@mackblue yup they’ve had decisions done for at least a week.
Emailed the rep from my district and they said, "Thank you for your email. Our intention is to update our website + email applicants the morning of the day we intend to release. Please keep an eye out in both places each morning for the announcement as well as instructions on how and where to login to view the decision. "
Ah so they’ll tell us the day of.
For those of you whose IDOC was requested, did it go through yet? Because by Brown financial aid account hasn’t updated and I did it a while ago.
Oof, okay. Still hoping it’s Thursday. In the meantime, we definitely need some cake
@stolbr I did mine as soon as i received the IDOC email and mine went through. Give it a couple days they might still be backed up.
Lol just looked at Harvard 2022 thread and everyone was either screaming that they got in or salty for deferred.
Ik im going to be bummed as heck if I don’t get in, even though it is the more likely option
i’m sorry if this was previously addressed, but does the IDOC request possibly mean anything? They requested IDOC the day after they sent me the email that most people got about activating a financial aid account.
“Brown does not require an IDOC packet from every family- only upon request. Once you have filed your CSS/PROFILE, you may receive an email communication from the College Board providing you with instructions on how to submit any additional requirements through IDOC. If you do not receive a request from IDOC, the Office of Financial Aid has enough information to provide an estimated financial aid award at the time of admission.”
i wasn’t contacted by college board though, the only place that says I need it is the brown financial aid account website
I looked at the Harvard EA thread and so many of them got accepted, and the rest were deferred and not rejected, fingers crossed that a disproportionately large percentage of us gets in as well!
@sciencenerd123 damn you got that evidence from the text tho… i bet you got a 5 on the ap lang exam
or just the people who didn’t get in didn’t wanna say so @astrobiodreams BUT WE’LL HOPE FOR THE BEST
Whoah. This thread just blew up.
yeah cause we’re all @Sleep_Deprived thinking about decisions
I heard from other people that after the applicant portal checklist is gone, the decisions release shortly after. So, I’m betting that we’ll get our decisions sometime this week.
yeah but i’d like to know exactly how long i have left to dream @Sleep_Deprived
