I'm applying to all three of those schools too. You look pretty good to me. Gotta work on getting two solid SAT IIs though. EC-s all check out, pretty standard though. It's good you stuck with Track and Student Council for all those years. I'd say you get into UVA (easier when instate) and Cornell and Brown are gonna be a bit tougher. Maybe see you next year?!

o cool, i guess the three schools have something in common.

can any1 give me an idea how much my brother and my experiences at brown will aid me in the admissions process?

ok..i'm a n00b at blogging and what not, but i think i picked up that 'bump' means to put it at the top soo....

BUMP!! HELP ME OUT!!

come on.......TONS of views, no posts?

Your stats seem to me like you have a solid shot at any of the three. SAT scores aren't fantastic, but definitely in the middle 50% at all of your schools. A possible quibble is your math score, since you've demonstrated so much interest\aptitude in that area, but the SAT isn't always the best measure of understanding, especially for math. Overall, there's not really anything on your list that makes me super-amazed, but then there's nothing that says red flag.

You seem to be a very well rounded applicant, with solid stats in all areas. I doubt you'll get into all three, but you have a pretty good shot at at least one of them, I think.

thanks for the comments, silverchris. although i will add that i'm pretty sure I'm above the 50% range at UVA instate.

but question- u bring up a good point about my math scores not being high
enough for the fact that I'm intending to major in a math area.
should i change my intended major to something that more suits my well-balanced SAT?

and, can a high SAT II score make for a low math SAT I score...assuming my math is around 750-770 this coming time?

oh I am also throwing in NCState (engineering) into the mix. keep in mind I'm out of state....COME ON PEOPLE, 100+ VIEWS AND ONLY 3 POSTS??! haha

ok...this is just depressing?

any1 else b4 this plummets into nothingness?
