<p>I would say it really depends on your essays. If they’re mediocre to good, I say in for sure. If not, well…tough. But your counselor said they were good, so i’ll just go with what she said :)</p>
<p>Thanks chocolatecricket! I really think they were some of my best work (but everybody say that lol). I managed to keep answers relatively brief by cutting out fluff and focusing solely on telling the adcom about myself, my interests, and what I bring to the table. My counselor said that the essays could def get me in, but obviously no way to be sure.</p>

<p>Unusual instrument, awards in so many diverse fields, leadership, etc., man you have it all!</p>

<p>Although Brown is considered a reach for every candidate, you seem to have a LOT going for you. Great GPA/possible class rank, good course load, good ACT score (I love the ACT ;)), and most of all GREAT EC’s and awards. The first-gen. will also help out a lot, and with all of this I’d say you’ve got a good chance of getting in. Good luck :).</p>

<p>Your ECs are amazing and so are your courses. One thing that may put you at a slight disadvantage to other students is your ACT. Its a good score, but it wouldn’t hurt to have a better one. Anyway, right now, I’d say you have a pretty good shot.</p>

<p>@fatal1030: Nope, I’m not hispanic lol! I’ve had some excellent teachers, and have known some native speakers for a long time. I’ve invented stuff that you might see in a Wal-Greens pharamcy or even in your car. I love being vague muhahahah
